Nepal 🇳🇵 – Himlung Himal (7,126m)

October 9 - November 5

Himlung Himal – Hidden Gem of the Himalayas

View of Himlung Himal

Himalayas – home to the majestic Himlung Himal (7,126m).

START DATE: 10.10.2025 – Kathmandu, Nepal

END DATE: 05.11.2025 – Kathmandu, Nepal

EXPEDITION DESCRIPTION

Himlung Himal (7,126m) lies in the Manaslu and Annapurna region, near the Tibetan border in remote Nepal. First summited by a Japanese team in 1992, this technically moderate peak presents challenges primarily through extreme cold. The area remained closed to visitors until 1992 when the Nepalese government opened the region. Our expedition follows the Annapurna Circuit trek route to Koto, then continues to Nar-Phu village. The trek to Base Camp passes Himalayan peaks, glaciers, high passes, remote villages, forests, springs, Gompas, and unique cultural settlements.

This untouched region sees few mountaineers – a land where time stands still, featuring wild, breathtaking landscapes with fascinating people, rushing rivers, and pristine forests.

Our Base Camp at 4,850m sits on grassy terrain. While Climbing Sherpas establish higher camps, members acclimatize through ascent-descent rotations. Three high camps will be set: Camp 1 (5,450m), Camp 2 (6,150m), and Camp 3 (6,375m). The final summit push involves climbing frozen snow. After summiting, we descend to Camp 3, then return to Base Camp the following day.
