ADVENTURE ITINERARY

Patagonia! At the very end of the world — geographically speaking — but in terms of beauty and uniqueness, it truly belongs among the top destinations. This region in the south of Argentina and Chile offers a stunning mix of turquoise lakes, striking peaks, and wild vegetation, along with a fascinating array of wildlife, including the world’s most famous glacier.

We will also visit Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, known for its cultural and historical landmarks. This is an adventure that requires good physical fitness, but promises an unforgettable experience you’ll remember for a lifetime.

ADVENTURE PLAN

Day 1: BUENOS AIRES – EL CALAFATE – EL CHALTÉN
Breakfast. Afternoon flight to El Calafate. Transfer to El Chaltén and hotel accommodation. Overnight.

Day 2: CERRO TORRE
Start of our Patagonian adventure. Trek to Laguna Torre with a breathtaking view of one of the most iconic peaks — Cerro Torre. Enjoying the lakeshore and returning to El Chaltén. Free time. Overnight.

Day 3: ESTANCIA BONANZA
Breakfast. Departure to one of the most beautiful estancias in Patagonia. Transfer from the hotel to the ranch. Preparation for guided horseback riding. The trail leads along the river and streams with unforgettable views of Fitz Roy. Return to the ranch for lunch prepared by the hosts. Transfer back to the hotel. In the afternoon, for interested participants, optional via ferrata of intermediate difficulty with a suspension bridge and zip line (ages 10+). Overnight.

Day 4: FITZ ROY
Breakfast. Trek to the lake at the base of Patagonia’s highest iconic peak — Fitz Roy (3,359 m), Laguna de los Tres. A demanding full-day trek of around 4 hours in one direction. The turquoise lake and towering peaks are unforgettable. The Fitz Roy massif inspired the Patagonia brand logo. Return to El Chaltén. Overnight.

Day 5: RAFTING RIO DE LAS VUELTAS
Breakfast. Glacial river rafting on Rio de Las Vueltas. Transfer to the river, short instruction and equipment distribution. Rafting lasts around 3 hours and is available for ages 12+. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon. Overnight.

Day 6: LAGO AZUL, LAGO DIABLO & GLACIER CAGLIERO
Breakfast. Transfer to the starting point of today’s trek. The trail begins at the visitor center and follows the Diablo River through a native forest with beautiful views of Fitz Roy. After about 2.5 hours of hiking and several suspension bridges, the terrain opens up with views of Cagliero Glacier. At the lagoon sits the mountain hut Puesto Cagliero. Return to the Diablo River valley and transfer back to El Chaltén. Overnight.

Day 7: EL CALAFATE – PERITO MORENO
Breakfast. Transfer to El Calafate. Hotel accommodation. Visit to the impressive Perito Moreno Glacier. Optional boat cruise (depending on guide’s instructions) or glacier hike with crampons. Return to El Calafate. Overnight.

Day 8: EL CALAFATE – BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight El Calafate – Buenos Aires. Transfer to the hotel. Free day for museums, parks, famous districts, and souvenir shopping. Overnight.

Day 9: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Full-day exploration of Argentina’s capital: La Boca harbor, tango everywhere, historic La Plata district, the 9 de Julio Avenue with its obelisk, Plaza de Mayo, huge parks, amazing restaurants, and excellent wine. Overnight.

Day 10: BUENOS AIRES
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.

ADVENTURE COSTS

Total cost of the adventure: 1,950 EUR

The organization of the adventure includes:

• Flight tickets on the route Buenos Aires – El Calafate – Buenos Aires
• Minibus transfers airport – hotel – airport
• Bus transportation on all routes within Argentina
• Day trips to Perito Moreno, Fitz Roy, and Cerro Torre
• Day trips to Chorrillo del Salto, Laguna Diablo, and Cagliero Glacier
• Excursion to Estancia Bonanza (horseback riding and lunch)
• Rafting on the Rio de Las Vueltas river
• Entrance fees for National Parks, Laguna Diablo, and Perito Moreno
• Hotel accommodation in Buenos Aires, in double rooms (half board)
• Accommodation in hotels and hostels during the trek in double rooms (bed and breakfast)

• Visa for Argentina (if required)
• International health insurance
• Quad rides, MTB, glacier trekking on Perito Moreno, and via ferrata / optional excursions

• Hiking backpack (20L to 30L)
• Duffel bag for the rest of your belongings (stays at the hotel during the trek)

CONDITIONS

Application Conditions:

• At least 90 days before the departure for the adventure.

Payment Conditions:

• 10% of the total amount upon application for the adventure
• 40% of the total amount 60 days before departure
• 50% of the total amount 30 days before departure

In case of cancellation by the participant:

• If the cancellation is 60 or more days before departure – 100% of the paid amount will be refunded.
• If the cancellation is 30-59 days before departure – 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
• If the cancellation is 29 days or fewer before departure – no refund will be provided.

In case of cancellation by the organizer:

If canceled due to insufficient participants, notice will be given 45 days prior. Full refund.
