Summit at 2,455 m with views of surrounding peaks, including Ushba, Tetnuldi, and Laila. Return to Mestia, visit to Svaneti Museum. Overnight. Meals: breakfast.

Day 05: MESTIA – KORDULI LAKES – MESTIA. 11 km, 700 m ascent, max altitude 2,749 m. After breakfast, we head to the Korduli Lakes. 4×4 minivan transfer to the starting point (Cross). This trek leads to several lakes lying beneath Mount Ushba, one of the most fascinating peaks in the Caucasus. The reflection of the massif in the lake water is an experience worth every effort. If energy allows, we ascend to Korduli Pass, 200 m above the lakes, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Return to Mestia. Overnight. Meals: breakfast.

Day 06: MESTIA – USHGULI – SHKHARA GLACIER – MESTIA. 16 km, total ascent 540 m, max altitude 2,450 m. After breakfast, we depart the hotel and board a 4×4 Mitsubishi Delica. We drive to Ushguli village, one of Europe’s highest permanently inhabited settlements. Today’s hike is relaxed, with stunning scenery all around. After exploring the glacier, we return to Ushguli. Transfer back to Mestia. Overnight. Meals: breakfast.

Day 07: MESTIA – MAZERI – SHDUGRA WATERFALL – MESTIA. 14 km to/from the waterfall. Breakfast. We take the popular marshrutka to Mazeri village, near the trek’s starting point. The trail winds through beautiful pine forests, past mountain streams, with views of Ushba’s peaks. Two routes lead to the waterfall. The longer, scenic one starts at Grand Hotel Ushba, crossing a bridge over the Dolra River to the left of the hotel. The trail passes mineral springs, a picturesque chapel, beautiful meadows, then gradually climbs through pine forests to a border marker, followed by the final ascent. Bring your passport, as border guards may check it. The trek is 7 km and takes about 3–4 hours one way. If energy and time allow, we can continue on a steep ascent to Ushba Glacier — an additional 3 km and 2 hours on a more demanding trail. In clear conditions, the reward is a spectacular view of Ushba’s summit and surrounding peaks (over 4,000 m). After an eventful day, we return to our base in Mestia for relaxation. Meals: breakfast.

Day 08: MESTIA – CHALAADI GLACIER – MESTIA. 6 km, total ascent 300 m, max altitude 1,850 m. Breakfast. Today’s trek is lighter than the previous days, but no less beautiful or impressive. Our 4×4 vehicles drive us 8 km to the starting point. After crossing a suspension bridge, the trail enters a stunning pine forest — a world of its own. Following this beautiful walk, you’ll reach the moraine and finally get to admire the glacier up close. Return to Mestia. Overnight. Meals: breakfast.
