ADVENTURE ITINERARY
Day 01: ARUSHA. Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to the hotel in Arusha. Time to rest and explore the town. In the afternoon – equipment check and packing for the climb. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: MANDARA Hut. After breakfast, drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate near Marangu village. Trekking begins through tropical rainforest with a chance to spot colobus monkeys and lush vegetation. Break for a sandwich and coffee. Arrival at Mandara Hut (2,600 m). Overnight stay.
Day 03: HOROMBO Hut. The ascent continues as we leave the forest and enter the afro-alpine zone. Stunning views of Mawenzi Peak and the Moshi Valley unfold. We reach Horombo Hut (3,600 m) by the end of the day, just in time for sunset. Overnight stay.
Day 04: ZEBRA Rock. Acclimatization day with a light hike to Zebra Rock (4,020 m) and the Mawenzi area. Enjoy a scenic outdoor lunch before returning to Horombo Hut. Overnight stay.
Day 05: KIBO Hut. A long trek through alpine desert takes us to Kibo Hut (4,600 m), nestled below the massive Kibo crater. Afternoon arrival and preparations for the final ascent. Rest overnight.
Day 06: UHURU Peak (5,895 m). Night climb with headlamps towards Gilman’s Point (5,685 m). We enjoy the sunrise, then continue on a gentler path to Uhuru Peak – the highest point in Africa (5,895 m). After celebrating and taking photos, we descend to Kibo Hut for lunch, then continue down to Horombo Hut. Overnight stay.
Day 07: MARANGU Gate. Descent to Marangu Gate where we complete formalities and receive certificates for the successful summit. Return to Arusha for relaxation at the hotel. Dinner and certificate ceremony. Overnight stay.
Day 08: NGORONGORO Crater. Long drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife. Scenic journey through African savannahs before arriving at an authentic African lodge. Overnight stay.
Day 09: NGORONGORO Crater Safari. Early morning safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, with the chance to encounter the “Big Five” and other African wildlife. Return to Arusha. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: ARUSHA. Breakfast and free time for souvenir shopping. Transfer to the airport.
ADVENTURE COSTS
Total adventure cost: Kilimanjaro & Safari – 2,100 EUR / only Kilimanjaro 1,800 EUR
The adventure package includes:
- Minibus transfers from/to the airport and hotel in Arusha
- All ground transportation in Tanzania (excluding private taxi needs)
- Accommodation in Arusha in a 3-star hotel, twin rooms, bed & breakfast (3 nights)
- Two-day safari and accommodation in a safari lodge, full board
- Accommodation in multi-bed wooden huts during the Kilimanjaro climb, full board
- Accommodation in Kibo hut in multi-bed rooms, full board
- Cook, porters, and support staff during the Kilimanjaro climb (30 porters and 4 guides)
- Water and tea during the Kilimanjaro climb
- Local guides on the mountain (1 guide per 4 expedition members)
- UIAA-certified guide on the climb, according to the program
- Permits for the climb and Kilimanjaro National Park fees
- Crater permits and Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance fees
The adventure package does not include:
- Tanzania visa (issued upon entry, 50 USD)
- Insurance covering up to 6,000 meters
- Mandatory tip for the mountain crew (150 USD)

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Applicants must submit climbing resume, insurance and passport scan. The adventure is open to individuals who are able to hike 15-20 km with an elevation gain of 1,000 meters and regularly practice an aerobic sport.
Application Conditions:
- At least 90 days before the departure for the adventure.
Payment Conditions:
- 10% of the total amount upon application for the adventure
- 40% of the total amount 60 days before departure
- 50% of the total amount 30 days before departure
In case of cancellation by the participant:
- If the cancellation is 60 or more days before departure – 100% of the paid amount will be refunded.
- If the cancellation is 30-59 days before departure – 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
- If the cancellation is 29 days or fewer before departure – no refund will be provided.
In case of cancellation by the organizer:
If canceled due to insufficient participants, notice will be given 45 days prior. Full refund.
