Dolomites – A paradise for hiking, adrenaline, and nature lovers.

ADVENTURE DESCRIPTION

Dolomites, a mountain range in the northern Italian Alps, is famous for its renowned Via Ferrata routes, green meadows, crystal-clear waterfalls, and breathtaking panoramas. Our base for this adventure will be Cortina d’Ampezzo, from where we will embark daily on Via Ferrata, trekking, and MTB adventures. The Dolomites offer the perfect combination of adrenaline and natural beauty, making them an ideal place for all mountain activity enthusiasts.

Via Ferrata – or “iron paths” – originated during World War I and today are popular and modernized routes throughout the Dolomites. In addition to these, we will also enjoy mountain biking and trekking trails suitable for all levels of fitness and experience.

ADVENTURE ITINERARY

Day 01: CORTINA D’AMPEZZO. Arrival at the hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo, check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 02: CORTINA D’AMPEZZO.
– Group A: Ascent to Averau (2,649m) – hike through the pine forest to the summit and mountain hut.
– Group B: Via Ferrata – beginners take the easier routes, while the more experienced climb ferratas of difficulty 3B-5C. Afternoon rest and socializing at the hotel.

Day 03: CORTINA D’AMPEZZO.
– Group A: MTB adventure on the trails of the Dolomites, suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced cyclists.
– Group B: Via Ferrata – a challenge for all skill levels, with enjoyment of adrenaline-filled climbing routes. Afternoon relaxation in the SPA.

Day 04: CORTINA D’AMPEZZO.
– Group A: Via Ferrata – together we will climb a 3B route, with the goal of finishing early and returning.
– Group B: Trek to the summit of Col dei Bos (2,559m) from the Falzarego pass, with a visit to the remains of a World War I hospital.

ADVENTURE COSTS

Total costs of the adventure: 480 EUR

Included in the organization:

  • Accommodation in a 4* hotel (half board – breakfast and dinner) – 3 nights
  • Via Ferrata equipment (harness, carabiners, helmet)
  • Mountain bike (MTB) and helmets
  • All taxes and permits
  • Licensed UIAA guides for trekking, MTB, and Via Ferrata
  • Free parking and WiFi

Not included in the organization:

  • Private health insurance
  • Transportation to Cortina d’Ampezzo

RECOMMENDED GEAR

  • Via Ferrata: High trekking shoes, backpack up to 30L, sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 50), fingerless gloves.
  • MTB: Sports MTB clothing (MTB Shimano XT and helmet provided).
  • Hike: Waterproof footwear, trekking poles, comfortable and warm clothing.
