Trek in Patagonia through Chile and Argentina

Patagonia – a hidden paradise occupying the very edge of the world! Situated at the southernmost corners of both Argentina and Chile, it represents a unique blend of turquoise lakes, imposing mountain tops and lush vegetation. It is also home to one of the world’s most famous glaciers. This tour will enable you to experience a world unlike any other, one that you will be sure to remember for the remainder of your life!


Day 1


Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel & accommodation.

Day 2


After breakfast we fly to El Calafate.Transfer to the hotel in El Chalten. City tour. For the first time we see the Patagonian mountain chain.

Day 3


Breakfast. Going to explore the Argentinean part of Patagonia. Light trek for 3 hours to Laguna Torre, from where you can see one of the most beautiful  peaks – Cerro Torre. We enjoy the shores of the lake, and then we go back to El Chalten.

Day 4


Breakfast. Trek to the lake at the foot of the highest peak of Patagonia – Fitz Roy (3359m), Laguna de los Tres. This is a somewhat more demanding tour and the trek to the lake lasts about 4 hours. A turquoise lake in combination with dominant peaks will not leave you indifferent. Otherwise, the whole Fitz Roy massif is used as the logo of the “Patagonia” brand so that if someone owns one of their products, they will be able to see it on the spot. Return to El Chalten.

Day 5


Breakfast. Transfer to El Calafate, then take a bus in the afternoon for Puerto Natales. Accommodation in the hotel. Rest and relaxation after the road.

Day 6


Departure in the morning by bus, and after entering the national park, we continue with the catamaran drive through the turquoise lake Peho. We are going to our W trek and at a fine pace after 3 hours of walking through incredible nature we reach Glacier Grey, one of the largest glacier in Patagonia. Return back to Refugio Peho and then return over Lake Peho to Puerto Natales.

Day 7


For the end of the trek we left the most recognizable symbol of the park and a place where you will surely remain breathless. After breakfast, we start by bus for Tores del Paine, and then on the ascent and after 1,5 hours, we arrive at the mountain chalet where we make a short break. We keep walking by observing the condors that compel us. The final part of the trek is also the most challenging, but the prize that awaits us at the very top is incredible. You will definitely remember the view that will be provided from the Mirador del Torres point. Return back to the campsite, from where we board the bus and return to Puerto Natales.

Day 8


Breakfast. Transfer to El Calafate. Hotel accommodation. Visit of the imposing glacier Perito Moreno. In the afternoon, return to the hotel .

Day 9


Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Back to Buenos Aires. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel.
City tour by night.

Day 10


Breakfast. A tour of one of the most beautiful cities on the southern hemisphere. The famous Boka port, the tango at every turn, the old town on La Plata, Avenija 9. de Julio with its obelisk, the main square of the Plaza de Mayo, huge parks, top restaurants and even better wine 🙂 All in one place. Transfer for the airport. Return to the hotel.

You will need to cover flights; insurance and extra spend. You’ll need to book your flights to and from Buenos Aires, travel insurance and cover other personal expenses (etc. drinks, souvenirs…).

What’s the hike like?
The hike is moderate. You have four days trek in total. Every day hike is around 20-25km, with easy pace. You will walk on mountain trail. It is safe and solid. It can be windy and rainy because weather in Patagonia is variable. Temperature is between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius.

What’s the city tour like?

All-day city tour is organized with our guide and transportation. We will see the most important cultural and historical monuments in Buenos Aires.

What skills/experience/fitness do I need?

You need moderate level fitness level. The previous hiking experience at altitudes up to 3000 above sea level is not mandatory.Your guide will give you full instructions and a safety briefing at the start.

What are the guides like?
All the activities on this trip will be led in English by qualified and licensed UIAA guide.

What’s the food like?
All food is local and is freshly cooked, hearty mountain meals. These include domestic cheese and other local milk products, dry meat specialties, lamb, local fruit, fresh fruit and vegetable. We can organize your meal in the way you like. The drinks are not included.

Can my dietary requirements be catered to?
Absolutely. Just let us know when you fill in your travel documents.

When can I go on this trip?
Book on to our pre-set dates above. If you are considering alternative dates, the perfect time for this adventure is between December and  March.

What’s the weather like?
Summer and early autumn ( south hemisphere) are the best periods to visit this region. In summer the average temperature in Patagonia can be around 20 degrees, but on the mountain is colder and temperature is around 5 to 10 degrees Celsius. Autumn is slightly chillier but still really pleasant and colors are stunning.

Which flights should I book?
You should book flights to Buenos Aires (EZE) airport.

How do I meet the transfer?
At your arrival, the transfer will be holding a sign with the name of the tour. We’ll give you all extra details before travelling.

How big will the group be?
This trip will run with a minimum of 6 people, and a maximum of 15. Please note, if there are not 6 people booked the trip may be rearranged or cancelled. Please contact us for confirmation before booking your flights, or book with a credit card.

Can I customize the trip?
